Popular singer Amit Mishra, along with Kamakshi Rai, has lent his voice for the title track of SonyLIV’s upcoming slice-of-life family drama Potluck.
Titled 'It’s All Good', the song introduces us to the theme of the light-hearted family drama that celebrates the spirit of bonding and togetherness in a "not-so-perfect-family". Potluck features Jatin Sial, Kitu Gidwani, Shikha Talsania, Cyrus Sahukar, Ira Dubey, Harman Singha, Saloni Khanna and Siddhant Karnick.
The duo Sukhamrit-Sachin has composed the song and penned the lyrics. “Sukhamrit and Sachin have beautifully worked their magic with the composition and the lyrics of the song which are an extension of the narrative of the show,” said Mishra. 'It’s All Good' encapsulates the calmness amidst the chaos and speaks of happiness in distress within a family poetically.
“I am happy to collaborate with SonyLIV and lend my voice to this soul-stirring track,” said Mishra, who believes that over-the-top platforms have come as a breath of fresh air for music aficionados. “While content will always be king, music has lent itself to this format, gaining huge prominence,” he added.
The singer, who is happy with the music production team’s work, said, "'It’s All Good’, just like the name of the song, instantly brings a good feeling and leaves a smile on your face."
A Triplecom Media, Loose Cannons Content Studio & Vial Content presentation, Potluck has been produced by Kunal Das Gupta, Pavneet Gakhal, Gaurav Lulla, Vivek Gupta.
The film, which has been directed by Rajshree Ojha and written by Ashwin Lakshmi Narayan, Bharat Misra and Gaurav Lulla, will be streamed from 10 September.
