Mithran Jawahar project starring Dhanush to go on floors on 6 August

Actor Dhanush, who was recently seen in the Netflix film Jagame Thandhiram, will commence shooting for his as-yet-untitled Tamil film with director Mithran Jawahar from 6 August, as per reports.

The film also stars Raashi Khanna and Priya Bhavani Shankar.

As per a report in a leading English daily, the makers are planning a low-key pooja ceremony to kick off the project.

This will be the fourth collaboration between the filmmaker and actor after Yaaradi Nee Mohini (2008), Kutty (2010) and Uthama Puthiran (2010).

The project, tentatively dubbed D 44, will feature music by Anirudh. The rest of the cast and crew will be finalized and announced soon.

Meanwhile, Dhanush will soon commence work on an upcoming trilingual project with filmmaker Sekhar Kammula. The film, which will go on the floors later this month, also stars Sai Pallavi.
