For the past few years we have been witnessing a growing trend of movies based on different subjects set in the Hindi heartland of India. Ayushmann Khurrana has featured in many of those films. Now, following in his brother's footsteps, Aparshakti Khurana will be seen playing the lead in a movie on a taboo subject set in small-town India.

The trailer for Satramm Ramani's upcoming satirical comedy Helmet offers a montage of funny scenes that are certain to make you laugh. After watching the trailer, it seems that Ramani has found the perfect balance of comedy and social message. Aparshakti Khurana's Lucky is a shy, newly married guy. He has two friends, Sultan (Abhishek Banerjee) and Minus (Ashish Verma), who also have financial problems.

To end their problems, the three friends plan to rob the truck of an e-commerce company carrying the latest electronic gadgets. Instead, they end up robbing a truckload of condoms. They then come up with a business idea of selling the condoms to the common people and to those who feel shy to purchase the item from a store.

From the trailer, it looks like the writer and director have successfully captured the essence of small-town India in the Hindi belt. Khurana and Banerjee are not new to this kind of setting. All the three actors seem to have good chemistry. Pranutan Bahl, who plays Khurana's wife Rupali, makes a brief appearance in the trailer.

Helmet has been produced by Dino Morea's DM Movies and Sony Pictures Networks Productions. The film will be premiered on Zee5 on 3 September. Watch the trailer below and let us know if you are keen to watch the film.
