The first song from Rumy Jafry's multi-starrer suspense-thriller Chehre is a simple romantic track whose visuals feature Emraan Hashmi and Krystle D'Souza.

The soulful composition 'Rang Dariya' by Gourov Dasgupta captures the tender moments shared by Hashmi and D'Souza's on-screen personas. From simple lunch and dinner dates and long drives to scenes of them cosying up alone on the terrace, we see how the love blossoms between the couple.

The song has a nice calming effect which makes it easy on the ears. The guitar riff in the interlude adds a nice contrast to the soft tune of the song. Even though the arrangement is a common one, featuring the dholak, chimta and violin, the soft tone of these instruments works wonders.

The slight husky texture of Yasser Desai's vocals adds emotional heft to the song. Desai's soothing voice beautifully complements Dasgupta's soulful composition. Farhan Memon's meaningful lyrics aptly express growing fondness between the couple.

Chehre also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Rhea Chakraborty. The film is slated to be released in theatres on 27 August.
