The thriller, conceived as a tribute to Hollywood filmmaker Quentin Tarantino, tells the story of a woman who wakes up from a coma, and a dream that eventually turns into her quest for identity.
According to a report by the ABP Ananda news channel, the lead actors have been going through intense martial art training to prepare for their roles.
“This is my dream project and I am willing to give it my 1,000%,” said Mimi. “National-level martial art experts are training us and they are great professionals. I think we are doing good,” added the actress-turned-politician.
According to Arjun, the script, penned by Arijit Biswas, is aiding them in the preparation, while the director has always been there to guide the team. “Also, we are taking martial art training. This time there is more to do physically, for which going to gyms is not enough. I love action movies but it is a difficult job too,” he said.
The music of the film will be composed by Bickram Ghosh.
Khela Jawkhon will be shot mostly in Kolkata and Odisha.
