Rhea Kapoor praises husband Karan Boolani in heartfelt note; see wedding photos

Producer-stylist Rhea Kapoor tied the knot with her boyfriend Karan Boolani on 14 August in a private ceremony at her family's bungalow in Juhu, Mumbai. Pictures of the ceremony were released on social media on Monday. 

In a heartfelt note, which accompanied a photo of the newlyweds, Rhea wrote, "12 years later, I shouldn’t have been nervous or overwhelmed because you’re my best friend and the best guy ever. But I cried and shook and had stomach flips all the way through because I didn’t know how humbling the experience would be. I’ll always be that girl who had to come home to Juhu at 11 pm before my parents fell asleep. Only until now I didn’t know how lucky I was to feel torn. I hope we make a family so close that we have many, many loves of our life. Mine are Karan Boolani, Anil Kapoor [father], Sunita Kapoor [mother], Sunam Kapoor [sister] and Harshvarrdhan Kapoor [brother] (sic)."

Rhea’s father, veteran actor Anil Kapoor, shared the same picture on Instagram, captioning it, "And with that, I feel like my Magnum Opus is complete with our two super-daughters and three super-sons, we have the biggest blockbuster ever! Our hearts are full and our family is blessed."

Rhea has produced films such as Aisha (2010), Khoobsurat (2014) and Veere Di Wedding (2018), which starred her sister, Sonam, among others.

Boolani has directed the TV show 24: India, which starred Anil Kapoor, and the web-series Selection Day.
