Jeethu Joseph film 12th Man, starring Mohanlal, goes on floors

Mohanlal’s upcoming Malayalam thriller 12th Man, which marks his reunion with director Jeethu Joseph of the successful Drishyam franchise, went on the floors on Tuesday. The project was announced in July.

The film will be produced by Antony Perumbavoor. The shoot began suspiciously on Malayalam New Year. The makers are yet to announce the rest of the cast and crew. 

A year or two ago, Jeethu Joseph and Mohanlal teamed up for a project titled Ram, which was also a thriller. The project, which was also to star Trisha, was put on the backburner to complete Drishyam 2. Reportedly, Ram has been revived as 12th Man; however, this hasn’t been confirmed by the makers. 

Meanwhile, Mohanlal awaits the release of the Malayalam action-thriller Aaraattu. The actor Is busy shooting for actor Prithviraj Sukumaran’s second directorial venture, Bro Daddy.
