Sumer Singh Case Files: Girlfriends trailer – Rannvijay Singha plays a tough cop

Rannvijay Singha is a popular host of reality shows, but he also acts in the movies or web-series every now and then. For the first time Singha plays the role of a tough cop in Voot Select’s crime thriller Sumer Singh Case Files: Girlfriends.

ACP Sumer Singh (Singha) has an impressive record of solving difficult criminal cases. He is keen to protect his record when he moves to Delhi. He comes across an unusual case of four friends (Karishma Sharma, Priyanka Purohit, Elisha Mayor and Aditi Arya) who get involved in a crime as they need quick money.

As Sumer Singh gets sucked into the case, he also goes through personal turmoil after he falls in love with one of the four women.

Over the past few years, trailers have been guilty of revealing a lot about the story. But it’s the opposite with this promo. One has to rely on the synopsis provided by the makers to know the plot of Sumer Singh Case Files: Girlfriends.

Having said that, the web-series appears to be an interesting crime thriller. Singha seems to have got the body language right for the character. As for the four women, it is difficult to know who is playing whom. So, we can’t judge the performances of the four actresses from whatever we see here.
