Punjabi actor Gippy Grewal announces latest directorial venture, Shava Ni Girdhari Lal

The film will star Neeru Bajwa, Surilie Gautam, as well as Himanshi Khurana

Actor Gippy Grewal took to Twitter and announced his latest directorial venture, Shava Ni Girdhari Lal, on Saturday. Sharing pictures with his fans, the actor sought their blessings as he embarked on his latest venture. Grewal has previously directed the Punjabi films Ardaas (2016) and Ardaas Karaan (2019). The title of the film is taken from an immensely popular song by Malkit Singh.

The film will be produced by Humble Motion Pictures in association with Omjee Star Studios. Just like the earlier two films directed by him, Shava Ni Girdhari Lal will also feature Baljit Singh Deo as the cinematographer. Neeru Bajwa and Surilie Gautam will also join the cast of the film.

Model and actress Himanshi Khurana also shared images from the set, confirming that she will be featuring in the upcoming film. Khurana has appeared in the Punjabi film Sadda Haq (2013) earlier.
