Uljhan trailer: An accident brings a married couple to their knees

A late-night collision between a car and a rickshaw leaves the rickshaw puller, Kali, injured and bleeding.

Ashish Pant’s directorial debut explores what happens afterwards to the couple that was in the car, Shirish (Vikas Kumar) and Geeta (Saloni Gupta). Both of them have differing views in the aftermath of the accident. Shirish is focused on his business and new home, while Geeta — who is expecting their first child — is conscience-stricken, especially when she meets Kali’s brother Manoj (Nehpal Gautam).

The taut drama seems to be leading to a buildup, wherein both Shirish and Geeta are keeping something from one another. Written and directed by Pant, Uljhan will be screened at the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles from 20 to 27 May.
