Main Te Bapu to be Sanjeeda Sheikh's next Punjabi film

Sanjeeda Sheikh has shared the news of her next Punjabi film, Main Te Bapu, on Instagram, saying, “Presenting my next Punjabi film."

The television actress has featured in several Hindi films and made her Punjabi language debut with Ashke (2018). She was recently seen in the Netflix horror film Kaali Khuhi (2020).

Main Te Bapu, starring Parmish Verma alongside his father Dr Satish Verma, has the tagline ‘Like father, like son’ and seems to be a film that focuses on family relationships.

Directed by Uday Pratap Singh and written by Jagreep Waring, the film also features Sunita Dhir, Sukhi Chahal, Gurmeet Sajan and Rose J Kaur. The cinematographer is Jalesh Oberoi.

The film’s release date has not been announced.
