Adil Hussain, Tillotama Shome's Raahgir to open UK Asian Film Festival

Adil Hussain and Tillotama Shome's Raahgir will be the opening film of the upcoming UK Asian Film Festival on 26 May. Directed by Goutam Ghose, the film was screened at several film festivals in 2019 and was also selected for the Shanghai International Film Festival in 2020.
Hussain shared the news of Raahgir being selected as the opening film of the festival on Twitter on Thursday.

The film, which revolves around two underprivileged people trying to make their way to the city, also features Neeraj Kabi in a key role.
Founded in 1999, The UK Asian Film Festival will begin on 26 May and conclude on 6 June. The festival will travel across the cities of London, Manchester, Leicester, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Hussain has recently completed filming for Footprints On Water. His film Indian Sweets and Spices will be screened at the upcoming Tribeca Film Festival from 9-20 June.
