Director Viju Mane announces his next Marathi film Shankar Patil On Matric

Popular Marathi actor-director Viju Mane has announced his next film, Shankar Patil On Matric, via an Instagram post.
The poster of the film, which depicts a class 10 passing certificate, bears the quirky tagline: "Hoy Me Corona labharthi (Yes, I am a beneficiary of Corona)'.
The film is still in the pre-production stage and it's too early to predict its plot, but the poster indicates that it will revolve around a man who just couldn't crack the secondary school certificate exam. Finally, he achieves the impossible, when the Maharashtra government decides to promote all class 10 students without conducting the exam in light of the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the state.
Meanwhile, Mane has another Marathi film titled Pandu ready for release. It stars Kushal Badrike, Bhalchandra Kadam and Sonali Kulkarni.
