The two will be hosting this six-episode unscripted reality show, which is set to be streamed on Amazon Prime Video from 30 April.
The show, which was originally developed in Japan, has been adapted in countries such as Australia, Mexico, Germany, Italy and Canada.
The Indian adaptation will feature 10 famous comedians — Aadar Malik, Aakash Gupta, Aditi Mittal, Ankita Shrivastava, Cyrus Broacha, Gaurav Gera, Kusha Kapila, Mallika Dua, Sunil Grover and Suresh Menon.
Warsi and Irani have done multiple projects together such as the Munnabhai series and Jolly LLB (2013) and both are known for their excellent comic timing. They have also judged a talent show for kids, Sabse Bada Kalakar.
"Boman and I are tasked with keeping a close eye on the ten contestants who will be coming under one roof only with one intention — to be the last one laughing. I can’t wait to see what these talented comedians come up with and how far they’ll go to take home the prize," Warsi said in a statement.
For Irani, LOL: Hasse Toh Phasse offered an opportunity to get into a "fresh" comedy space.
"The Indian audiences love comedy, and with an entirely unique format with ten of India’s most hilarious comedians, this show is power-packed with absolute insanity, laughter, and entertainment," Irani added.
Aparna Purohit, head of India originals, Amazon Prime Video, India, said comedy is among the most-watched genres on the streaming platform and the team is excited about the show's launch in India.
"Unique, fresh and packed with funnies, this one-of-a-kind laughter survival show is infused with all the right ingredients and promises to be a complete laugh riot," Purohit added.
