Gulati revealed the news on Twitter, sharing a picture of himself and a clapperboard. He captioned it, “Extremely happy and excited to be a part of Goodbye.”
Gupta’s casting in the film was announced last week. She will be playing Bachchan’s wife in the movie. This is the first time she will be sharing the screen with him.
This is also the first time that Bachchan will be working in an Ekta Kapoor’s production. When the film went on the floors at the start of this month, Kapoor expressed her excitement about working with the veteran actor for the first time.
“This is how it’s (hopefully) going. Finally working with the only actor I've been waiting to work with. Who I spent my childhood obsessing over. What an honour sir/ uncle! Welcoming new beginnings with Goodbye,” she said on Twitter.
