Dia Mirza is expecting her first child with businessman Vaibhav Rekhi and made the announcement with a special photograph from her Maldives vacation. Mirza and Rekhi were married in a private ceremony in Mumbai on 15 February.
The actress took to Instagram to share the happy news and got poetic as she wrote, “Blessed to be... One with Mother Earth... One with the Life Force that is the beginning of everything... Of all stories. Lullabies. Songs. Of new saplings. And the blossoming of hope. Blessed to cradle this purest of all dreams in my womb.”
Mirza, who was seen on the big screen last year in Thappad (2020), recently holidayed in Maldives with Rekhi and her stepdaughter Samaira. This is the second marriage for both Mirza and Rekhi. Mirza was previously married to producer Sahil Sangha for 11 years.
