Rosie: The Saffron Chapter teaser – An eerie sneak peek at the dark tone of the film

The first teaser for television star Shweta Tiwari's daughter Palak's debut film Rosie: The Saffron Chapter gives the viewer a sneak peek into the film's dark supernatural tone. The eerie teaser hints at the dead returning to the world of the living to claim their love.

The minute-long video does not feature any actor from the film. Instead we get a twisted version of Richard Bach's famous quote — If you love someone, set them free. The universe will conspire to bring them back from the dead. The second sentence, which wasn't what Bach said, indicates that the film has many scares in store.

Actor Arbaaz Khan has been roped in to play an important role in the film. But the thing that sticks out is that there is no mention of Vivek Oberoi in the teaser. Oberoi was not only supposed to be one of the producers of the film, but was also part of the principal cast. So his name vanishing from the promotional material is certainly odd. There has been no word yet from the film's team in this regard.
