Bell Bottom team celebrates Akshay Kumar's birthday with new look in character

Akshay Kumar received a birthday gift in the form of a new look of himself in character for the upcoming film Bell Bottom (2021).

The film will reportedly feature Akshay as Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) officer, and has just begun its schedule on 20 August. The actor celebrates his 53rd birthday today, 9 September. 

The makers of the film shared the retro still featuring Akshay as a dapper officer standing in front of an Indian Airlines plane. The film, directed by Ranjit M Tewari, is an espionage thriller set in the 1980s.

With his aviator sunglasses and retro thick moustache, the actor certainly looks like an officer from the 1980s. In addition to Akshay, the film will feature Vaani Kapoor, Huma Qureshi, Lara Dutta, in prominent roles. 

Produced by Jackky Bagnani, Pooja Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani under the banner of Pooja Entertainment, in association with Emmay Entertainment, the film is written by Aseem Arrora and Parveez Shaikh.

Bell Bottom is expected to release in theatres on 2 April 2021.
