The news was also shared by Khatter and Panday on their Instagram pages.
Khaali Peeli sees Khatter play a taxi driver while Panday plays his passenger. The young woman is carrying a huge amount of money, some valuables and a gun. A gang of crooks is after her, because of which the cabbie, just out of prison, lands right back in trouble.
Khaali Peeli was among the films that needed just a few days' shooting when the country was abruptly shut down in March in a vain attempt to stop the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. The remaining portions were shot once the film industry got the green signal from the government to resume shooting in June.
Khaali Peeli has been jointly produced by Himanshu Kishan Mehra, Ali Abbas Zafar and Zee Studios.
