Zhala Anant Hanumant is the story of a common, middle-class man who is facing multiple problems at home. He is fed up of his wife's constant badgering and his son's constant illness. One day, his life changes completely because of a supposed superstition. The film is a satirical take on superstition.

Bhagat is producing the film under his home banner, Meena Shamim Films. The film was initially announced in 2017 by a different production house with Nandu Madhav, Mangesh Desai, Siya Patil and Pooja Pawar in the cast. It remains to be seen if the director retains the same cast.
