Evil Eye is based on the bestselling Audible Original production by writer Madhuri Shekhar and features Sarita Choudhury, Sunita Mani, Omkar Maskati and Bernard White.
The story revolves around the suspicions of a mother that her daughter's new boyfriend is connected to her own dark past.
Jason Blum, Lisa Bruce, Marci Wiseman, Jeremy Gold, Guy Stodel, Anjula Acharia, Emilia Lapenta, Kate Nevin, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas's Purple Pebble Pictures are executive producers on the film.
The trailer for the anthology captures a dark, sinister tone that stems from close relationships and the suspicions caused by those relationships.
With its eerie tone and treatment, the anthology represents the standard of horror from Blumhouse, which is gaining a reputation for its horror content. This trailer certainly lives up to expectation. From the first snippet of a grim creature crawling up the wedding aisle to sinister tarot cards and a healthy smattering of blood, it is filled with some scares.
Amazon Prime will start streaming the anthology from 6 October, when The Lie and Black Box will become available for viewing. Nocturne and Evil Eye will be streamed a week later.
