Anuja Joshi, who was seen recently in the web-series Hello Mini (2019) on MX Player, will now play a starring role in an upcoming web-series.

Shooting for the series, directed by Shefali Bhushan, had started earlier this year but was stalled by the COVID-19 pandemic-induced lockdown.

Joshi is currently in the US for some family commitments and will be returning to India this month to resume shooting for the show.

“I have a few work assignments to finish shooting for and I'm looking forward to my visit to India," the actress said in a statement. "The production team is extremely particular about the health and safety of everyone associated with the projects I'm working on.”

For Joshi, the lockdown wasn’t a dull and boring affair as she got engaged to actor-boyfriend Ankur Rathee in July.

“This has been a crazy year, but I'm also quite overwhelmed with the warm love and wishes I have been receiving for my engagement," Joshi said in her statement. "I do miss being on the sets, but, honestly, the lockdown has been fulfilling for me in many different ways and I’m extremely grateful for everything I have received.”
