A drive-in theatre is one where films are screened in an open arena with the audience driving into the space after purchasing tickets and viewing the film while seated in their cars. It is after a long time that a film is being showcased at drive-in theatres in India.
Khaali Peeli is Khan’s second directorial venture. He had made his debut with Lanka (2011), which starred Manoj Bajpayee, Tia Bajpai and Arjan Bajwa. He is making his return to filmmaking after nine years.
