After much anticipation, Punjabi singer and actor Gippy Grewal’s latest album The Main Man has been released. The singer had announced album’s release date, which coincides with his son Shinda’s birthday, earlier. The album features collaborations with rappers Bohemia and Karan Aujla and singers Amrit Maan and Jass Manak. The crooner took to Twitter on Tuesday to spread the word.

Just two days earlier, Grewal had shared the link for another song from the album, Ask Them, featuring Aujla, who also wrote the song. The song has garnered over 10 million views so far.

The music video, directed by Robby Singh and Sukh Sanghera, is set inside a casino and Grewal is styled like a mafioso. Actress Ishita Raj Sharma plays a spy trying to record the goings-on in the casino. In line with most Punjabi songs these days, Ask Them features guns and violence with dollops of machismo and posturing. The music is, frankly, quite run of the mill and, aside from the glitzy video, the song does not have much to write home about.
