Vardhan Puri, grandson of the late veteran actor Amrish Puri, has announced his second film, The Last Show, which stars Anupam Kher, Satish Kaushik and Pallavi Joshi.
The film, which will mark the debut of Anupam's niece Vrinda Kher, will be helmed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, Joshi’s husband, while veteran scriptwriter Rumy Jafry has penned the script. Puri made his debut with the romantic thriller Yeh Saali Aashiqui (2019) alongside Shivaleeka Oberoi.
Sharing his excitement, Puri said in a statement, “Elated to be working with an extremely esteemed cast including Anupam Kher, Satish Kaushik, Pallavi Joshi, Vrinda Kher, Godaan Kumar. Blessed with this opportunity. I cannot wait to share this brilliant story with you all. Thank you so much, Universe.”
Puri also shared a video with the director and the cast of the film on Instagram. The team is seated together reading the script of the movie.
Before making his acting debut, Puri was an assistant director in two Yash Raj Films movies, Ishaqzaade (2012) and Shuddh Desi Romance (2013).
