Windows Production House has launched the poster for its upcoming film Fatafati, which is directed by Aritra Mukherjee.

The film, which will be released on Women’s Day next year, addresses the issue of body shaming and challenges stereotypical notions of beauty.

The film has been written by Zinia Sen, who also wrote Windows’s last woman-centric feature film Brahma Janen Gopon Kommoti (2020).

The poster features a confident plus-sized fashionista, her face covered by a huge hat, on the cover of a fashion magazine. The measuring tape around her waist highlights the film's theme. The poster promises a story that encourages self-love and explores the root cause of body shaming.

Windows Production House hasn’t yet disclosed the cast of the film. Its previous films, Mukherjee Dar Bou (2019) and Brahma Janen Gopon Kommoti, were also released on Women’s Day and not only exposed the patriarchal system, but also highlighted the issues of women's empowerment and gender equality.
