The trailer for Eros Now's upcoming film Halahal (2020) shows you a father's journey in pursuit of the truth about his child's death.
Sachin Khedekar plays the grieving father who is not willing to accept that his daughter took her own life. He thinks there is something fishy in her death and enlists the help of an unscrupulous cop, played by Barun Sobti, to solve the mystery.
In their search for the truth, the father and the policeman face many roadblocks, including getting abducted at one stage by some gangsters. The trailer gives you an idea about the stakes involved in the case.
Veteran film and television star Khedekar looks promising as the troubled father who is hell-bent on finding the answers to his daughter's death. Sobti, who has made some eclectic film choices and turned in some impressive performances in his short career so far, proves once again that he is an actor to look out for. He perfectly encapsulates the laidback attitude of an unscrupulous officer who seems to have bitten off more than he can chew by agreeing to help the father.
Helmed by Randeep Jha and produced by Zeishan Quadri, Shalini Chaudhary and Priyanka Bassi, Halahal will be streamed on Eros Now from 21 September. Watch the trailer below and let us know if you are keen to watch the film.
