Actress Rajeshwari Sachdev is the latest to test positive for the rapidly spreading COVID-19 infection. The actress confirmed the news through a post on social media, asking people who were in contact with her to self isolate.
Sachdev is currently on the television serial, Shaadi Mubarak. Confirming the news, the actress wrote,"Hello Everyone! Ho gaya ji humko bhi... I've tested positive for COVID-19. Got myself tested when I started showing a few symptoms and have self isolated plus quarantined myself at home..."
While the actress has not been part of the shooting for the last couple of weeks, the production team of Shaadi Mubarak have stalled shooting since the actress confirmed her news. Reports suggest that the production team has asked the cast and crew to monitor their health, while also sanitising and fumigating the sets.
Rajeshwari Sachdev is married to actor and writer Varun Badola.
