Laxmmi Bomb motion poster: Watch Akshay Kumar get possessed by an angry ghost

Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film Laxmmi Bomb (2020) has been in the news over the last one year because of its poster where the leading man is seen in the avatar of a transgender woman. The motion poster of the film has been worth the wait.  

But more importantly, the makers have revealed the release date of the film. Laxmmi Bomb will start streaming on the OTT (over-the-top) platform Disney+ Hotstar from 9 November as this year’s Diwali release. 

In the motion poster, a voice informs Akshay’s character, that from now on, he will be known as Laxmmi instead of his original name, Laxman. The actor's appearance with a moustache slowly gets transformed into a woman with long hair wearing a sari and bindi. His transformation is impressive, which along with the strong background music, succeeds in having a thrilling effect on you. 

Laxmmi Bomb is the official Hindi remake of Raghava Lawrence’s Tamil horror-comedy Muni 2: Kanchana (2011). He has helmed the Hindi remake as well. The film is said to be a revenge drama. 

Laxmmi Bomb also stars Kiara Advani as the female lead. Advani acted with Akshay in Good Newwz (2019); this time she has been cast opposite him.
