Vijay Sethupathi's Ka Pae Ranasingam to be released on 2 October

Ka Pae Ranasingam (2020), starring Vijay Sethupathi and Aishwarya Rajesh, is set for a 2 October release on Zee Plex.

Directed by PK Virumandi, the film is a current social drama that feels like a timely release. The feature will be the first Tamil film to be released on a pay-per-view basis on an OTT platform.

The makers shared the announcement of the film's release date on social media on Tuesday. The announcement of the film's OTT release was made on 11 September. 

The film is a social drama that revolves around the current issue of clashes between farmland owners and corporations looking to buy land for industrial purposes.

In addition to being made available on a pay-per-view basis, the film will be released in five Indian languages, and subtitled in 10 international languages for users worldwide.

Ka Pae Ranasingam is backed by KJR Studios, with Ghibran providing the musical score.
