Zee5 to premiere Expiry Date on 2 October

The suspense thriller features Sneha Ullal, Tony Luke, Madhu Shalini and Ali Reza in key roles.

Expiry Date, which stars Sneha Ullal, Tony Luke, Madhu Shalini and Ali Reza, will be premiered on Zee5 on 2 October. The latest series on the OTT (over-the-top) platform revolves around two couples and the dangerous game of extramarital affairs that they indulge in.

The ten-episode web-series gets further complicated with jealousy and anger playing a large role in fracturing the relationships. Malayalam actor Tony Luke, who made his Hindi film debut with Badla (2019), plays one of the leads of the show.

“Expiry Date was an exciting project to work on and it has lot of flavours right from romance to deceit to vengeful retaliation to human perseverance,” the actor said. “I think there are very interesting characters with various shades and layers adding a certain conflict within the storyline that challenges the narrative. With Zee5 giving the show the global reach it deserves, I hope audiences love and appreciate the fruit of our labour.”

Actress Sneha Ullal, who makes her digital debut with the series, said, “It is exciting to a part of a unique and fresh project such as Expiry Date. So, the audience should expect that punch of suspense in every episode. My character is extremely bossy and knows her way around things. She is going to be the troublemaker for sure.”

Directed by Shankar K Marthand and produced by Northstar Entertainment, Expiry Date will be released in both Hindi and Telugu.
