With the shoot already underway, Yoodlee Films' Comedy Couple is set to release on OTT on 21 October. The film, directed by Nachiket Samant, and featuring Saqib Saleem and Shweta Basu Prasad, went on the floors during the lockdown in July.
The film will revolve around the story of Deep (Saqib) and Zoya (Prasad) who form a stand-up comedy duo. When one of their comedy acts go viral, their professional and personal lives collide, resulting in uncomfortable truths and bittersweet realizations, which they must navigate to make sense of their relationship.
The makers of the film released a new poster for the film. With the two leads sharing the limelight in front of a mike, the setting for the film's story becomes quite obvious. This film will also be the first collaboration between the two leads.
