Richa Chadha, Arunoday Singh to star in Zee5's spy thriller Lahore Confidential

Richa Chadha and Arunoday Singh are all set to team up in Kunal Kohli's upcoming spy thriller Lahore Confidential.

The film will also feature Karishma Tanna. 

Kohli revealed a look of the teaser being shot, as part of the announcement of the series.

"Let's not reveal too much. Let's keep it confidential," wrote the director in keeping with the film's theme. 

The series will revolve around a divorced woman whose love for Urdu draws her into a complex and dangerous spy ring in Lahore.

Speaking about the film, Chadha said, "Lahore Confidential presents the genre of spy and romantic thriller in a way that will keep the viewers hooked to the plot. My favourite part of the film is the old school romance banter mixed with its espionage." 

Singh said the film's narrative would challenge viewers. "Poetry has always been close to my heart, which makes the film even more special for me. It’s is going to be a never-seen-before romantic spy thriller. I am super excited to kick-start this project with ZEE5," he said.

Speaking on the film, Kohli said, "The film has lots of elements to it, ranging from old school romance to action to Urdu poetry to edge-of-the-seat thrills, and bringing all these elements together makes it a challenging project."

The project is being produced by JAR Pictures and will premiere on the Zee5 platform.
