Spy thriller Lahore Confidential to be premiered on Zee5 on 11 December

After London Confidential, Zee5 is back in the spy game with another entry to its espionage thriller franchise. Titled Lahore Confidential, the film stars Richa Chadha, Arunoday Singh and Karishma Tanna and it will be released on the OTT platform on 11 December.

To be directed by filmmaker Kunal Kohli, Lahore Confidential is being described as a contemporary, elegant and thrilling love story of two spies that will put them in a tug of war with each other.

The film follows the story of a  divorced Indian woman who is living a mundane life but things take a drastic turn when she finds herself on intelligence duty in Pakistan. This role is likely to be played by Chadha. 

This is Kohli's second thriller set in the backdrop of a love story after Fanaa (2007).

The first instalment of the franchise, created by S Hussain Zaidi, starred Mouni Roy and Purab Kohli. The film showed two brave RAW agents' efforts to thwart a Chinese conspiracy involving biological warfare.

Lahore Confidential is being produced by Jar Pictures.
