Sanya Malhotra has signed on to her first crime thriller, Shanker Raman's Love Hostel. The film will be produced by Manish Mundhra's Drishyam Films and Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment. Starring Vikrant Massey, the film will also feature Bobby Deol.
Malhotra announced the news on Twitter succinctly.

The description for the project reads, "Set against the pulsating backdrop of rustic North India, Love Hostel traces the volatile journey of a spirited young couple being hunted by a ruthless mercenary. The star-crossed lovers take on the entire world and then some more in search of their fairytale ending [sic]."
The film features the themes of power, money and bloodshed, which were also present in Raman's debut film, Gurgaon (2017).

The actor was recently seen in Aashram (2020), and Class of 83 (2020) on MX player and Netflix respectively.
Malhotra is currently awaiting the release of her ensemble drama, Ludo, directed by Anurag Basu.
Raman had directed a portion of the dystopian Netflix series, Leila (2019). Love Hostel will be the director's first project with a major production studio.
