Vijay Varma opens up about Mirzapur's little-known post-credit scene

Post-credit scenes are not unheard of to viewers of Hollywood films, especially those belonging to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. For the uninitiated, a post-credit scene is a crisp segment added well after the end credits start rolling. It is mostly used to convey what one can expect in the next film of a series. 

This phenomenon is new in India but it seems it’s slowly picking up. Amazon Prime Video’s Mirzapur season 2 has quietly included one such scene, much to the amazement of fans. In fact, it flew under everyone's radar until Vijay Varma discussed it on Twitter on Tuesday. 

The actor, who joined the cast in the second season, played a pair of twins Bade and Chhote. There is some confusion as to which of the two brothers dies at the end of the season. When a Twitter user asked Varma about this, he replied, “Watch last episode post-credit scene.” 

This had viewers skipping past the credits of the last episode.

The scene, which features no dialogue, reveal an interesting twist. It also makes an indirect announcement regarding the next season of Mirzapur.
