The ladies of Amazon Prime’s Four More Shots Please! have a reason to celebrate. The actresses Sayani Gupta, Bani Judge, Kirti Kulhari and Maanvi Gagroo were named Best Rising Star at Busan International Film Festival’s Asia Contents Awards 2020 on Sunday.
The award was shared by the stars of Four More Shots Please! and China’s Dilireba for Eternal Love of Dream and Indonesia’s Ririn Dwi Ariyanti for Dewi in a virtual ceremony where the hosts and performers were the only ones in attendance. The winners and presenters joined the ceremony online.
The producers of the series, Pritish Nandy Communications, along with Gupta and Gagroo, celebrated the award online.
Gupta commented, “Another reason to toast! *Best Rising Stars* With mah sisters. A big big thank you to the people who made this possible and made the four of us shine! [sic]”
Her co-star Gagroo simply stated, “Rising stars alright!”.
