Miss India was supposed to hit the screens in April. However, its release date got postponed to November due to the coronavirus pandemic.

This will be Keerthy’s second film to be released directly on an OTT platform after Penguin, which had its world premiere on Amazon Prime Video recently. In the film, Keerthy played a mother who is on the lookout for her son who was kidnapped by a serial killer.

Keerthy has two Telugu projects in the pipeline, the Nithiin-starrer Rang De and Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata. She will also be seen in two Tamil films, Rajinikanth’s Annaatthe, where will play the superstar's sister, and Saani Kaayidham, which marks the acting debut of filmmaker K Selvaraghavan. The actress had recently signed a Bollywood project opposite Ajay Devgn. However, she later opted out of the project as the makers felt she had lost too much weight to play the role of a mother.

Miss India will be released on Netflix on 4 November.
