The quirky teaser for Zee5's upcoming political murder mystery Dark 7 White is filled with dark humour. It starts with the narration by Sumeet Vyas, who plays a young chief minister, Yudhveer Singh Rathod.
Vyas introduces his character, who dies seconds into the teaser. Then the teaser shifts focus to the murder investigation led by assistant commissioner of police Abhimanyu (Jatin Sarna). There are nine suspects, including Yudhveer's lady love Neena (Monica Chaudhary), his friends from college, his party and his family members.
Sarna, who is better known for playing negative roles, looks the part of a stern police officer. The teaser succeeds in creating intrigue by keeping things ambiguous.
The official description of the series reads: 'When Yudi, the new chief minister, gets killed in an accident, the investigation leads to his college friends and the dark secret they have been hiding.'
