The makers of Taath Kana, an upcoming biopic on renowned neuro-spinal surgeon Dr PS Ramani, have released the first poster of the film where Umesh Kamat, who is playing the titular role, is seen carefully examining an X-ray of a patient's spinal cord. Dr Ramani is an 81-year-old neurosurgeon who practises at Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital.

Kamat sports grey hair in the poster, indicating that the film will also throw light on the later part of Dr Ramani's career.
Directed by Girish Mohite, Taath Kana, which is based on Dr Ramani's autobiography of the same name, has been adapted for the big screen by Shrikant Bojewar.
Talking about his experience directing the film, Mohite said, "It was an opportunity to study an incomparable personality and it really was an unforgettable journey."
Interestingly, in the teaser released in 2017, the makers had credited Dasbabu as the director of the film.
Taath Kana is being jointly produced by Vijay Mudshingikar of Pradnya Creation and Karan Rawat of SpringSummer Films.
