Sairat actors Tanaji Galgunde and Arbaz Sheikh to feature in Free Hit Danka

Actors Tanaji Galgunde aka Langdya and Arbaz Shaikh aka Salya will be seen on a big screen together after appearing in the Marathi blockbuster Sairat (2016) in the upcoming film Free Hit Danka.

Helmed by Sunil Magare, Free Hit Danka is a story of a gang of youngsters and their unbreakable friendship. After the forced break because of lockdown, Free Hit Danka team has started the shoot of the film with the full speed. Although makers haven't revealed much about the film's actual plot the poster of the film seems to indicate that there also a love story. 

After Sairat, Galgunde was seen in films like Majha Agadbam (2018) and Bhootiyapa (2019) where he played supporting roles. 

Except for Shaikh and Galgunde, the project's makers have kept the names of the rest of the cast, including the lead pair, under wraps for now. 

Apart from the music and the heart-wrenching love story that is central to Sairat, the friendship between Akash Thosar's Parshya and Langdya and Salya was another big factor in the unparalleled success of the film.

Free Hit Danka has been produced under the banner of SGM's Films by Umesh Narke, Dharmendra Singh, Prasad Shetty, Vikas Kamble and Praveen Jadhav.
