The Family Man wins big at Asian Academy Creative Awards 2020

The Amazon Prime web-series The Family Man proved a big winner at the 2020 Asian Academy Creative Awards.
The action-thriller show's lead actor Manoj Bajpayee and helmer duo Raj & DK (Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK) won the Best Actor in a Leading Role and Best Direction (Fiction) Awards respectively, while the series also bagged the Best Drama Series and Best Original Screenplay Awards.
The other Indian winners included Aahana Kumra, who won the Best Actress in Leading Role Award for her performance in the Voot series Marzi.

Among the other Indian winners were Motu Patlu for Best Animated Programme or Series and Rohan Joshi for Best Comedy Performance in Wake N Bake for Amazon Prime.
MX Player's take on the story of the late chief minister of Tamil Nadu Jayalalithaa, Queen, won Best Original Programme by a Streamer/OTT Award. The series features Ramya Krishnan in the leading role and is directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon.
Even prime minister Narendra Modi won laurels with his episode of Man vs Wild with Bear Grylls bagging the Best Non-Scripted Entertainment Award.
