Kareena Kapoor Khan has wrapped up her scenes for Laal Singh Chaddha. The actress, who is in her second pregnancy, shared the news on Thursday by dedicating a note to her co-star Aamir Khan and the Laal Singh Chaddha team.
The note read, "And all journeys must come to an end. Today, I wrapped my film Laal Singh Chaddha... tough times... the pandemic, my pregnancy, nervousness but absolutely nothing could stop the passion with which we shot, with all safety measures of course. Thank you, Aamir Khan and Advait Chandan for an intense yet poignant journey... thank you to my most wonderful team Avan Contractor, @teasemakeup, @makeupbypompy, Poonam Damania, and the entire crew... @nainas89 you were missed. Till we cross paths again...❤️❤️🎈 [sic]"
Kareena, who announced her second pregnancy in August, reportedly resumed shooting for the film last month.
Aamir Khan, who plays the titular role in the Advait Chandan directed movie, responded to Kareena's note with a funny post. He jokingly said he's devised a plan to keep working with Kareena.
"What are you talking about Kareena? End of journey? No way! I've requested Advait to write a few more scenes for us, so we can continue shooting with you," Khan wrote.
Laal Singh Chaddha is the Hindi remake of the Tom Hanks-starrer Forrest Gump (1994). The film, which was slated to be released on Christmas this year, has now been postponed to Christmas 2021.
