The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday carried out searches at four locations linked to producer and director Dinesh Vijan, including his home, in connection with the alleged money laundering angle in the case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death.
Vijan was the producer and director of Rajput's film Raabta (2017).
The news channel Times Now reported that the agency interrogated the producer for a few hours in connection with the money laundering case filed by Rajput's parents on 31 July in Bihar.
Neither the filmmaker nor his production house has issued a statement on the matter.
Rajput's family had alleged that Rs15 crore had been transferred from the late actor's bank account to several unknown holdings.
The ED has already questioned several figures in connection with the case including Rajput's partner Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik and father Indrajit.
Rajput was found dead in his Bandra apartment on 14 June. The CBI is currently investigating the cause of his death.
