Arjun Rampal, girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades summoned by Narcotics Control Bureau

Arjun Rampal and his girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades have been summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) to appear before it on 11 November.
The summons came after the agency raided Rampal’s Mumbai residence today.
The Asian News International (ANI) agency reported on Twitter.

NCB conducted raid at the premises of Arjun Rampal today & summoned him on 11th November to join the investigation, in connection with a drug-related case.
The NCB had arrested Demetriades’s brother Agisiloas last month after drugs were reportedly recovered from his residence.
The summons for Rampal and Demetriades came a day after the NCB arrested producer Firoz Nadiadwala’s wife Shabana Saeed and allegedly recovered 10 grams of marijuana from their residence. The Nadiadwalas were raided after the arrest of a suspected drug peddler recently.
Nadiadwala was summoned by the NCB today. However, NCB officer Sameer Wankhede told the Press Trust of India (PTI) news agency that the producer failed to show up.
The NCB started investigating an alleged drug cartel in the Hindi film industry after the Central Bureau of Investigation claimed to have found some links while looking into the death by suicide of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Rajput's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik and a couple of Rajput’s employees were arrested for allegedly supplying him drugs. Rhea and the two employees were released on bail last month.
