The song 'Ghor Baranda' from Sauvik Kundu’s upcoming film Switzerland encapsulates the essence of marital bliss. Composed by Savvy Gupta and written by Srijato, the song has been sung by Ishan Mitra.

The title hints at the intimate and simple bond shared by the lead couple Shibu (Abir Chatterjee) and Rumi (Rukmini Maitra) in the film. Srijato’s lyrics beautifully expound on how mutual trust and deep understanding form the basis of a long-term relationship.

The visuals see Chatterjee and Maitra delighting in their rare moments of tenderness while their kids are fast asleep, indicating that the couple has successively kept the spark of romance alive.

Moreover, the contrasting visuals of the couple, who take comfort in nostalgia while leafing through a photo album that bears testimony to their younger days show how simple memories fill long-term relationships and make them worthwhile.

Savvy’s composition and Mitra’s moving rendition lend warmth to Srijato’s deep lyrics.

Switzerland is slated to be released on 13 November.
