Tiger Shroff has announced his next big project, Ganapath, with Pooja Entertainment. Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film is an action thriller set in a post-pandemic dystopian world.
The makers released a motion poster that shows the silhouette of Shroff looking into the horizon while standing on the ruins of a city. The title also hints that the film is the first instalment of a planned franchise.
The teaser is accompanied by Shroff's voiceover saying, "Jab apan darta hai nah to apan bahut maarta hai'.
Speaking about the project, Shroff said, "This film is different from the rest of the movies I've done to date because of the character I play. The script and scale look promising. I am really looking forward to this one. This will be my first time working with producer Jackky Bhagnani and Vikas and it will be hugely exciting to collaborate with them."
The film will also mark Bahl's first directorial foray since his collaboration with Hrithik Roshan in Super 30 (2019). Ganapath is produced by Vashu Bhagnani and Pooja Entertainment in association with Good Co and is expected to go on the floors in the middle of 2021.
