Sachin Khedekar, Sonali Kulkarni to star in short Marathi film Gajra

Vineet Sharma, who has been playing supporting roles in films, television serials and web-series for 20 years, has ventured into direction with a Marathi short film titled Gajra. The film stars major figures from the Marathi film industry such as Sachin Khedekar and Sonali Kulkarni along with Kshitee Jog and Jayant Gadekar.
The actor, best known for his role as police inspector Phadnis in Rohit Shetty’s Ajay Devgn-starrer Singham (2011), shared the news on his official Instagram page.
The last time Khedekar and Kulkarni shared the screen together was in Prasad Oak’s highly acclaimed directorial debut Kaccha Limbu (2017). The two were also cast opposite each other in Mahesh Manjrekar’s Kokanastha (2013). The film was the official Marathi remake of Manjrekar’s own Hindi film Viruddh (2005), which starred Amitabh Bachchan, Sharmila Tagore, Sanjay Dutt and John Abraham.
As an actor, Sharma was last seen in the Hindi web-series Hello Mini which released last year. He was again seen as a police officer in this show.
