Our characters have always been different, says Nidhi Singh on starring with Sumeet Vyas in Dark 7 White

Nidhi Singh and Sumeet Vyas, who acted together in The Viral Fever's Permanent Roommates and Amazon Prime's Wakaalat From Home, are one of the most beloved on-screen couples in the Indian web space.

The two actors are back together for the recently released ALTBalaji and Zee5 political murder mystery Dark 7 White. The show sees Singh play Daisy, the daughter of a fictional chief minister of Rajasthan while Vyas plays a budding leader, Yudhveer aka Yudi. 

Singh pointed out that although Vyas and she have played a couple before, their characters have always been different.

“We have been paired against each other twice before this show, but it is heartening that all our characters are extremely different from each other. We started as Mikesh and Tanya [in Permanent Roommates], and here we are as Yudi and Daisy. It’s a stark contrast to anything that we’ve done before, which is a huge sigh of relief because we know that our fans will now be able to see us in a completely new light,” she said in an official statement. 

Directed by Sattvik Mohanty, Dark 7 White features Jatin Sarna, Monica Chaudhary, Taniya Kalra, Kunj Anand and Sumit Singh.
