Kriti Kharbanda, Vikrant Massey begin shooting for 14 Phere

Vikrant Massey and Kriti Kharbanda on Thursday started filming for their next movie, 14 Phere.

Kharbanda announced the commencement of shooting for the project on Instagram. "Embarking on a journey that promises 2x fun, dulha-dulhan are ready to take 14Phere!. Starring Vikrant Massey and myself. Directed by Devanshu Singh. A Zee Studios production. Shoot begins today!" she wrote in the caption.

The film, which is currently being shot at Kamalistan Studio, will also be filmed on location in Delhi, Jaipur, and Lucknow.

The film is a social comedy written by Manoj Kalwani. It is being directed by Chintu Ka Birthday (2019) helmer Devanshu Singh.

In his statement to the news agency Press Trust Of India (PTI), Singh said that the film would be a family entertainer. "A contemporary social comedy with elements of romance, comedy of errors, lots of emotions, adventures-misadventures and celebrations. It's full of surprises [sic]," he said.

The makers of 14 Phere haven't yet revealed any details about the rest of the cast.

Kharbanda was recently seen in Bijoy Nambiar's Taish (2020), which was released as a film and a mini-series on Zee5. Apart from 14 Phere, she will be also seen in Chehre (2021) and a Tamil film Vaan (2021) opposite Dulquer Salmaan. Massey will be seen next in Love Hostel (2021) and Haseen Dillruba (2021).
